Armando Villarreal, MD
Dr. Armando Villarreal is a board-certified physician in Anesthesiology and Pain Management with a specialty focus in interventional pain medicine. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and his Pain Medicine fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University, also in Philadelphia.
Dr. Villarreal has a distinguished background in pain management, interventional medicine, and neuromodulation. He previously served in Assistant Professor roles in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where his research focused on neuromodulation and spinal cord stimulation outcomes.
Dr. Villarreal has participated in multi-center clinical studies, lectured nationally and internationally in the field, and has held leadership roles in pain medicine and neuromodulation organizations.
Dr. Villarreal has helped patients manage pain at Rehabilitation Medicine Center of New York and Newark Rehabilitation Center since 2022. His clinical focus aligns with minimally invasive, patient-centered pain management for patients dealing with acute and chronic pain conditions.
